What's your favorite polish with a PC?

I hope you dont mind, but if we could - can we modify the responses to this criteria:

Compound:

Polish:

Finishing Polish:

Paint Cleaner:

For me it is:

Compound: In search for an alternative to PG/RMG

Polish: Optimum Polish/Compound Mix

Finishing Polish: Meguiars #80 or FPII or 3m #05937

Paint Cleaner: Prime Strong

Great thread!

I like menzerna a lot. Optimum is good to, but it's a pain in the neck to clean out the polish from the pads at the end.

#83 with orange sonus cutting pad.

#82 with blue sonus finishing pad.

LG for sealant x3

P21S for the nuaba.

Compound: SSR2.5 w/Sonus orange or LC orange pad

Polish: SSR2.5 or SSR2.0 w/green Sonus or LC white

Finishing Polish: #80, OP, SSR1 all w/green Sonus or LC white

Paint Cleaner: AIO with Sonus Blue

All work well by PC IMO.

Sonus' SFX system and the pads. I am not a fan of Sonus' orange pad, as it has a tendency of separating. Their polishes, however, are quite good.

Compound: Presta 1500 polish(great stuff, makes the paint look like glass and a mirror)

Finish polish: Menzerna po106ff(gives the best shine possible and takes out every swirl)

Sealant glaze: FK1 217 (gives an unbelievable gloss and super protection that lasts for months)

Wax: pink wax/ trade secret/poor boys/ presta best wax i like alot too

Having spent over $1000's of dollars and trying everything out there for the past 15 years, these are the best that work for me and I have not found anything that will top these yet. I just wish they were from the same company!

Compound: CG Spider Buff w/cutting pad

Polish: CG Spider Buff w/polishing pad

Finishing Polish: CG Diamond Cut 2000

Paint Cleaner: still searching.......

This is the stuff they say is for the new ceramic clear coats correct? Are you using this stuff on normal clear? Any other info on this would be much appriciated. I just picked up a bunch of Menzerna stuff from CMA and if it will take me from light-mod swirls to ready for glaze I am real interested in hearing more. Is this your go to product anytime you have swirls starting to creep back in?

Thanks in advance. I have been in detail recovery for the last few years.... looks like I fell of the wagon or is it back on?

I use the menzerna po106ff to take out all the little scratches and it makes the finish smooth and glassy. The gloss that it adds is truely amazing. If you want a smaller bottle then I would go with the blackfire src finishing polish. More lubricating oils in it then the 106ff. Good luck and I hope this helps you big time like it has for many of us. Well worth the money....trust me!

Fk1 just came out with a new final polish called 336 high gloss that I just ordered, so I will let everyone know how they are, so far I love everything that they have..

What pad do you use with the 106ff and I can't remember if it was you are someone else that mixes RMG in with it.
