What's the best way to appy M21?

I have some Mequiar's #21, and I remember reading somewhere that someone had the best results by rotary. If so what pad, speed and how much product on the pad?

Hand/DA for me only...

M21 2.0 is something that I really do have a hard time loving. I like it, but I dont love it.

Its like any other meguiars "pro" line wax/lsp. Very easy to apply/remove on a well prepped surface by hand....hell on a poorly prepped surface.

I find doing it by hand you don't get an even application. Someone used a rotary and found it better than the DA. If you the DA how much product is applied to the pad?

Thanks

I apply it it by hand and it looks OK but best used over one of there glazes like #3 Glaze makes it pop. The 21 last for about four months of really good protection.

It should be almost clear when applied on the paint.

Okay will try putting it on very sparingly, last week I put it on and it appeared as when you apply polish. So maybe I've been putting a little bit too much and makes it harder to get all the haze. Getting the haze out requires me to reapply some more sealant and then wiping up right away. But that gets to be a PIA as compared to putting on wax.
