I'm addicted to the ultima stuff, but I find that the ultima interior shampoo is a bit too mild for leather. My son leaves drops of milk all over the interior of both my black bmw and tan audi.
I also found that when I was trying to clean my father's tan cadillac that was 4 years old, I couldn't clean the leather very well. I actually scrubbed so much some of the leather came off! I was using a MF towel. And the stitching which was white, never really came clean
So... What interior cleaner should I be using? I guess leather cleaner? Is the bmw (550) and the audi (q7) seats, dash, door panels etc, really leather?
In searching and reading threads it sounds like either the sonus or the zaino? How's the chemical guys cleaner (they are local so I was going to swing by tomorrow)
I do use the ultima interior guard plus which works great as I actually noticed less dust on the dash since I started using it.
I just need a cleaner that I don't feel like I'm rubbing the leather off when I'm cleaning the seats. btw, on a black interior bmw, using a microfiber towel, if I see a little white, did I scrub off the leather? How do I repair if i did
I probably wouldn't recommend the ultima interior cleaner for a detailing cleaner as it's as mild as the meguiar's interior cleaner i.e. doesn't really clean other than get rid of dust and light dirt. Meguiar's smells better and is a lot cheaper. It's good for an upkeep cleaner though.
