What's in YOUR wal...er.. mobile detailing kit? :)

Now that I have a nice new car to take care of, I decided it was finally time to get down to putting together a kit to keep in the trunk. Stopped at Wally World today to pick up some bottles and a tote, and here's what I ended up with:

  • Spray & Wipe
  • Spray & Gloss
  • Bug Squash (full strength for when it's needed, such as those darn purple goose droppings)
  • 303 APC diluted 50/50
  • Natural Look
  • Several microfibers of various nap thickness

Anything obvious I'm missing? I figure that pretty much takes care of bugs, bird droppings, interior stains/spills, various other light dirtiness issues, and then I threw in the S&G in case I want to make a good impression and can't get home first. :) hehe

What do you carry with you? We could turn this into a good reference thread.

I carry two MF's and PB's Bird Sh#t Remover. It's all I ever really need. The rest can wait until I get home.
 
pretty soon, ill carry most of my stuff around, Still freezing some nights around here, so im going to wait alil longer.
 
You guys are nuts.

Do any of you carry around a bag with toothpaste, mouthwash, deoderant, bar of soap, razor, and a nail clipper????

I mean do you guys pull over after a bug hits your windsheild or stop in the middle of the road to avoid a sprinkler?

I don't carry anything at all, if i wanted my truck to stay clean all the time then i would just keep it in the garage and not drive it.
 
Well I plan to carry most of my stuff, cuz i will be living in a appt in like 4 months. so instead of wasting space in my appt for a bunch of boxes full of detailing stuff, why not keep most of it in my truck, where I will need it more then if it was in my Appt. I used to carry a bag with spray and wipe and spray and gloss, with some apc, and some microfibers. That was my regular kit.

I don't carry any of the home essentials with me unless I'm on a trip. If it's a big bug I'll clean it up whenever I get to where I'm going. Yes, I will try to dodge a sprinkler or other forms of water/debris if I'm not going to get in the way of other drivers. I take pride in driving a clean car and will do quite a bit to keep it that way. :howdy
 
Can't avoid bugs or bird siht. You can avoid sprinklers and puddles though.

I have a Bottle of Meg's Quick Detailer, and a small blue MF towel.

Right now I have a couple MF towels, spray detailer, and window cleaner. I hardly use the spray detailer, because if I used it every time I wanted to, I would end up doing the whole car several times a day. I do use the window cleaner a lot though. I can't stand having anything but perfectly clean windows while driving. My girlfriend gets pretty pissed when I stop in a brightly lit parking lot on Friday night to clean my windows because I've spotted an imperfection.

Yeah I don't post on MOL anymore. Mike Phillips basically doesn't want me around, and I got tired of him threatening me through PMs and emails that I "was promoting methods and procedures contradictory to the credo of the Meguiar's Corporation." You win some, you lose some, I guess.
