I use Meguiar's QD spray, like pretty much every week since that I can't wax every week. :(
But this stuff works pretty good, what's in it?

Depends on the QD................. water, surfactants (cleaners of some sort), silicone, wax, polymers........ and probably some other stuff can be found in some QD's.

P.S. The Meguiar's QD you are using does contain some silicone.

Hope this helps.

Any difference between that and the NXT wax boost?

The NXT booster wax has.................. "wax" in it. The regular Meguiar's QD doesn't. I don't use a "booster wax" on a vehicle with any dust or dirt on it.

Wait.. is silicone a bad thing?

Silicone isn't necesssarily bad, as there are different types of silicone. In a bodyshop environment, regardless there should be no silicone, so you could use #34 of the Prof line. I would have to add to the list gloss enhancers in Meg's QD, oh and that sweet cherry smell! :D
