What's going on in Good Deals?

With the economy sucking as bad as it does, I figured it was a good time to pop the Good Deals forum up a level and start sharing.

When you find a great deal, share it with the rest of us... post it up!

But, please, no :beware

Damn that Makita is a great deal. I ended up paying slightly less than that for a G110, but I got a hardcase AND a bag. And some pads. But it sure is pretty in Makita Green. Oh, its a rotary though, I'm not confident enough for a rotary yet.

I know I've seen this posted around here and there, but for those that don't know; Specialty Bottle is a great place to get 2-8 oz mixing and diluting bottles in bulk.:bigups

Also Home Depot (around me at least in NJ) has 32oz heavy duty spray bottles for $.98 each. The spray nozzles seem very good quality and they have graduation markings for mixing including actual ratio lines for 2:1, 3:1, 4:1, etc. Nice bottles if you buy your products in bulk and/or dilute it.

I just went to Home Depot yesterday, they didn't have any spray bottles for 98 cents, they were all like $3.50. I got a 3 pack for $5 though. And a wash bucket for like 2 bucks.

Now to find a place locally that sells grit guards...

Just drill a series of holes (I use a 3/4" wood bit) in one bucket and place egg crate in the bottom of the second, then stack the first on top....voila!

Hmm, these were on an end cap cardboard rack. It didn't say anything about a sale, I just figured they were on closeout or something. They are 32 oz bottles with orange and white spray nozzles and the Home Depot logo screen printed on them.

Makita 9227c on Amazon shipped for about $180 with the bag, 2 pads and the BP that it comes with :)

Amazon.com: Makita 9227CX3 7-Inch Electronic Sander-Polisher with Polishing Kit: Automotive

Sadly due to the cost, I had to choose this over buying from our sponsors. I'll compensate with more pad buying and a BP or two though :spot

I was going to post the same thing.

This seems like a decent price on a PC?

AutoDealio.com - Porter-Cable 7424 4.0 Amp 6-Inch Variable-Speed Random-Orbit Polisher

This looks to be the same Makita too.

Don't want to advertise my site or board David might flip out, lol

Whoa! Thanks for posting! I havent played with my yoyos in years! I used to have a Bumblebee and was pretty good at it. I might have to get some stuff from you...

Which one is that in your post above? I didnt see it on your site

It's the YoYoFactory's 09 888 color:Aqua, listed on the front page with a pic link. YoYoFactory are the same people who made your Bumble Bee. They use to be Proyo but they sold that name to Duncan. If you can find my forum check out the "video topic" most amazing!!

64oz Eagle One Car Wash on closeout for $1.33 at Parts America. I bought 10 of them to shoot through my foam cannon :)

I called them and they have clearance deals throughout the country depending on location. I mentioned your city and they said it is not on clearance (still $6.29 when she pulled it up) and that given it is a chemical, you have to pick it up locally at a retail store they do business with like a NAPA, Auto Zone, Pep Boys, etc...

I'd be curious how you got it so cheap. Awesome score!

Hmm, its coming up more expensive for me. $6???

I guess its based on location then. The guy I spoke with said that they were starting to liquidate the Eagle One stock as they were not suppliers anymore or something like that...

I went to the Laguna Hills one since the one in Aliso was sold out. They were listed at the store as having it on stock. If you guys want I can scan the receipt later :). They don't put it on the shelf either, its behind the desk :hmph:

I paid $15 for those 10 :dance

Took a screenie of my area :)
