I ask this question cause I see that most people on here charge prices that around me are just nuts to people when you quote them. I think we should share what is being charged and your location. You can post from a outside wash to a complete full detail. Thanks

Let me post this up and see if you guys can give me a quote.

Here is a car I did yesterday. What would be the charge? I did the whole interior and extracted the carpet and just a few spots on the seats. Sorry for the cell phone pics. Only thing I had in hand. The last few pics are not the finished product but close enough. Daylight was gone when we finished.

$200 is what I would have quoted!

And that would include all cracks, crevices, seams, blah blah right?

Man people around here look at you like your crazy!!!!! I try to target the right people but even them sometimes think it's a lot. I think that's a fair price. IDK

For an interior that filthy... $55 an hour. That is about a 2 to 3 hour job, based on my process.

I know where your coming from on the people cringing at the prices.. BUT.. since being on this forum, which has not been all that long, and doing an extensive amount of reading on here as well, I have learned that people will actually pay higher prices if they know they are getting the BEST job. I have also taken on the attitude that "this is what i charge because this is what i am worth". After doing a few jobs, with pic's to show your work people are alot more proned to pay your prices.

I have been laughed at many times when quoting prices, but i just say, thanks and have a nice day.

The people that have seen my work have no problem paying my prices..

Yeah I hear you man! I wish it was just a little easier lmao.

That is at least a two hour job for the interior, around $125 if it took two hours. I've got it down where I can clean most interiors in under an hour. That would probably take 1.5 hours to actually clean, another 30 minutes for dressing and glass. If it took longer, it would be more.

Factors to consider with pricing; market location, who you are targeting, what others are charging, your expenses. It really does not matter much what people in other markets are charging. You have to figure out what the correct price is for your market, and based on what your expenses are.
