What's a mid gloss tire dressing that semi- lasts..

I have been through tons and tons of tire dressings for my *silver/brushed aluminum, etc* summer wheels. Always sway back to Z16.

Did not like Hyperdressing cut 10 different ways, etc.

Z16 doesn't last but gives me the perfect sheen. It's the tradeoffs for a water based product.

FAST forward. I just got my set of 20" Winter wheel powdercoated in Eggshell Black. Black wheels obviously look smaller in *black* and I need some POP for my winter tires with some decent longevity. Tell me fella's - what's your mojo juice.

I decided to use up my UTGPG but the both of my bottle sprayers have pretty much gunked up - with solidified bunk in them. Even after having shaking, there is still quite a bit of chunks. I have given up and am not wasting another clean bottle/sprayer for this. (I use small 6-8 oz sprayers to hold this).

I'm all tapped out of ideas on a new tire dressing to try

i've been using this and it works pretty well (i like it better than the AA tire shine gel). you can find it OTC for around $5-$6, and one bottle will last forever. i'd say it's right between a high gloss and matte finish, though it's says high gloss.

Mothers® Reflections® Tire Care provides a rich, satin-like, non-oily finish that is show car perfect. Our unique formula protects against harsh elements, brake dust and UV damage, yet makes your tires look like new for weeks and weeks.

Don't take this the wrong way, but, if you've already been through "tons and tons" of tire dressings and are unhappy with all of them,

it's unlikely you will find anything you like. I use AA Extreme Tire Shine Gel, myself.

I concur, after a few rains the AA looks like Z16 and stays that way. The mothers stuff is good but the shine totally wears off and the tires just stay a nice color black.

If you would give Duragloss 253 a try you would see how similar it is to Z-16.... David made a reply on this and made a convert.

It's been ages since I've used 1Z...and I have had great results with both the cockpit cleaner and APC.

Not looking to replace Z16. Just considering/looking for something that may have just even a smigen more durability to it for the winter tires....
