Hello all I'm looking for some help I have a new Titanium Grey Mazda 5 door. The paint is flawless the first day I had it I clayed it with Clay Magic Blue and used Zaino Z1 then Z2, since then I have applied 3 coats of Z2. To say the least it shines. But that is were the problem is, Zaino is awesome but I'm not so sure on Titanium Grey, it doesn't have the warmth or depth that I like. I was wondering if someone would share their expertise with this or a similar color. I have read on another forum that AIO then SGx2 the UPPx2 is absolutely awesome.

Thanks, in advance.

I've had great success with AIO, and 3x UPP. mtodde really likes the look of EX-P+ and a quality carnauba topper, perhaps he'll respond to this thread.

I have a ti grey 3 sedan and I have had great results from EX-P x 3 and Natty's x2. It gives incredible wetness and shine.

It's really just a matter of personal preference.

I've tried SG & found it to be the most durable of the LSP's I use, specifically for winter time protection with 3x layers.

I've tried FMJ (my second most favorite LSP) and liked the looks & ease-of-use when applying/removing but the durability doesn't seem to be there, at least according to the way the water beads get "loose" very quickly.

IMHO, UPP gives me the look I like and the durability I prefer in the summer. I've tried topping with Collinite #476 to improve the appearance but my eyes did not perceive any improvement in appearance but durability probably increased.

Also IMHO, if Collinite isn't the most durable carnauba-based wax out there, it's somewhere in the top 2.

Use what suits you eye ..... and use it often.

Well on my 1992 Mustang GT Titanium Silver-I have used Zaino.
I used Zaino 2 yrs ago and barely last year.
I still haven't used Zaino at all this year.
I'm not going to sit here and praise Zaino for 3 hours but let's just say..people still ask me if I just got it painted..
It is a remarkable finish..just remarkable.

Here's my 0.02 sence I have silver I've tried a cuple things so far:

UPC
UPP

I personally didn't see the pop with the flake as I hoped with UPC + UPP. The UPC in my opinion muted the flake.

PwC
EX-P

This gave a more reflective look and it also gave it a little of a wet look but not much.

AIO
EX-P x 2
Natty's x 2

This combo gave a very wet look and was pretty reflective too. For looks so far this is my favorite but wouldn't use this combo for a months worth of protection or anything. I like trying new things so haven't kept things the same for more than 2 weeks.. haha

AIO
UPP x 2

This is on my car right now and it looks nice, the UPP really makes the flake "pop" and I love it. It also has a nice wet look to it as well. I would think these combos would look nice on grey as well but the UPP in your case wouldn't make the flake "pop" because you have none but it sure leaves a nice glow, very slick finish, and a wet look I just love on silver metallic. Try and see. My next combo will be AIO + EX-P x 2 + Natty's X 2 + Signature x 2 and maybe substitute EX-P with UPP and see how that comes out. Just placed an order for 3 jars of #16 before I can't get my hands on it anymore so I might throw that in there somewhere to try out. Just my thoughts.
