In my short time as a detailing enthusiast, I've seen an explosion of options in a few key product areas. For example, when I first started, there were far fewer options available for sealants and detailing sprays. There has also been a lot of growth in the diversity of microfiber type of products available, particularly in products like MicroRestore.
So, what products categories do you guys think will take off in the near future. My bets:
1) Waterless washes: QEW like products seem to be coming out every day.
2) Spray waxes: I think there are going be a lot more products like Optimum in the next few years. Probably not as a substitute for a true LSP, but more for added pop following a washing.
3) I think we'll also see continued evolution in detailing sprays. The category may split in to Megs Final Inspection types of products (primarily cleaning) and 4* UGE type of products (primarily added shine and slickness).
4) Products to seal wheels, or other wise protect wheels.
Thoughts?
