What wash mitt and towles do YOU use for ONR?

I only just started using this stuff (only two washes under my belt), but I use a Eurow sheepskin mitt and follow it up with PakShak waffle weave towels.

I use a Sonus Concours Buffing Towel for my wash "mitt", a MF hand towel soaked in ONR wash solution and wrung as dry as I can make it for my first drying wipe, and finish with a dry MF hand towel. I use the damp towel because I find MF that is already damp soaks up water more readily, the followup towel dries what's left.

I can usually wash and dry my car with one CBT for the wash and two, sometimes three MF hand towels for the dry.

Tort

Chenille covered foam pads to wash, Meguiars Super Terry towels for the first drying pass, Exceldetail yellow 16 x 16 towels for the final drying pass.

Scott where can I find the Chenille covered foam pads you are using? I think I'd have much more control over what I'm doing with one of those.

MF Chenille Wash Mitts (Costco, Walmart)

Large MF (came with 3 mitts at Costco) or Cobra Ultra for first pass

Cobra Ultra Plush for second pass

Is it recommended to use 2 bucket method for ONR? For instance, one bucket containing ONR and the other with just water for rinsing the drying towel? I guess one poster suggested wetting the drying towel with ONR to wipe....

I do the two bucket method for every wash I do, whether its ONR or not. When I did my first ONR wash last week I did the two bucket wash and after seeing how dirty my no-solution bucket was, I made a mental note to NEVER do an ONR wash without using two buckets. My mitt just gets too filthy without being able to pre-rinse excess dirt off the surface, that I need to have that second bucket to make sure I'm not leaving grit in the solution bucket.

I'm sure people use one bucket, but I'll only use two.

YMMV.

Someone else used to do it with grout sponges but never posted a picture of what they looked like or where to get them. Can you?

The ones I use, which can be found @ Home Depot (thanks to Spoiledman for finding these, assuming they're the same ones he uses):

I bought several at Big Lots. Similar versions are at Pep Boys. Just feel them to be sure they are soft.
