What Type of Paint does a 1994 BMW 840ci Have?

No I have no pics to show yet.... But I figured you pro detailers would know if a 1994 840ci has single stage paint, or clearcoated...I'm about to do one and I'll post when finished. How hard can I expect the paint to be?



I know up until 96 or so it seems like yellow and red BMW 3 series were single stage but I also know they tried to pioneer alot of new technologies on the 8.



Products I have to work with:



White Pad

Yellow Cutting Pad

3M Finesse It II

3M Perfect It II

Klasse Twins



Would you have any recommendations if its a single stage paint? I've heard they need to soak up oils which Sealant Glaze would definitely not provide...

Photo above is a "before" I wanted to add that the car never used to look so orange and I suspect oxidization maybe if it IS in fact a SS finish...or maybe just bad lighting.
