What to use when you don't have a certain product??

Hey, guys.



Last minute, I had a detail fall into my lap this weekend. I'm detailing a 2004 VW Bug convertible. I do not have any specific products for convertible tops (Neither vinyl nor fabric) and I'm pretty sure I won't be able to find anything OTC in my area. We have Advance Auto Parts, Autozone, O'Reilly's, just to name a few. What should I use since I don't have easy access to Ragg Topp or 303 Convertible Top products?

You could try an APC with a towel or brush.

If you have a VW dealership on your area they might carry raggtop, i know mine does

BMW dealer has conv top care kit as well as just cleaner

I don't know about you buy my Kragen and Autozone have 303 AP.

I have found all kinds of products localy in places I just happend to be at. RV center's, Marine shops, auto accessory stores, hardware stores, auto paint & body supply, etc. I thought the only place to get some of the products used by Autopians was online.

I found good results with 3M Leather & Vinyl Cleaner/Restorer, found locally.
