What to use on white paint?

I've got a 2006 Ford F150 to do and was wondering what has given the best gloss results on white. I've seen one car that was done with 501 and had really good gloss but was also quite a bit newer. This is going to be a 75-85% correction job so multible steps is fine.

Poorboys Pro Polish topped with White Diamond and your choice of sealant. That's been a killer combo for me. At work (a dealership of nothing but white commercial trucks) I use 3M compound and their Ultra Fine polish, and the results are great as well.

Final Polish

DA
Menz (UF 4500) PO85RD

Rotary
3M Perfect-It 3000 Ultrafine

Sealant/Wax
Zaino Z-2
Collonite 845
Poorboy's Liquid Blue

i like the spray compound and polish from OPT. once you get the spray nozzle set right lol. on white i would go with the collonite 845. looks great on white and give good durability

M105 and M205 with your pads of choice ( Orange, White, and Black ) and topping with Blackfire Wet Diamond or Ultima Paint Guard Plus. You can top it with a carnauba wax like Blackfire Midnight Sun or Poorboy's Natty's.

I've had primo results with 1 step using MF DA/D300 on white. Refining with finishing polish didn't seem to produce results commensurate with the additional time or effort. IMO, nothing looks better on white than 845IW. YMMV.

Thanks for the replies guys. White can be a tough color to get any real shine or depth to. Luckily I have just about everything that was suggested so I may just do a couple of sample panels to see which one looks the best. It may have been on AG that someone used 501 with a white pad and got some really good gloss with it. But if I remember right the car was only a year or so old.

SIP/Super Finish
105/205

Would be the first 2 combos I would try test areas with in that order personally.

It is hard to beat 845 on white IMO but Dodo Light Fantastic is aways a fun choice to use also as a LSP.

I think I'm going to propably end up using 845 or the 601/501 601/105 combo b/c the owner is not one to wax it very often and probably won't be a repeat customer until next year. As far as the compound and polishes go I have a order of some new stuff coming in a few days to try out.

Many times a nice all in one product works very well on white.

Meguiar's D151
Duragloss 105 or 111

Menzerna Super Finish PO106FA all by itself does an unbelievably nice job at swirl and defect removal. Top this with a quality sealant like PRIMA Hydro-Seal and 12 hours later a nice coat of Collinite 845 and you'll be amazed at the results.

Iron X, clay, Meg mf cutting disc with D300, if you need to refine more then menz 85rd with foam pad, duragloss 501 & 601 mixed 4:1, top with DG 111 and stand back

I own a white 2002 F150. The only products that use are Griot's paint sealant, Poorboy's Natty paste wax and top it with Optimum spray wax. Can send a sample of the Griot's if you want to try it.

I like the looks of Opti-Seal on white paint. My sister had a white Ford Escape and it looked amazing with Opti-Seal on it.
