What to use on this maroon Mustang?

I'll be detailing this car next week. I know the guy and I'm only charging him 40 bucks. It's a twin turbo LX hatchback.

I want to use something that will last and be very slick. He said it doesn't have any swirls (I'll assume very minor ones). He just wants a wash/polish/wax. I'm thinking VM + UPP.

Thoughts anyone?

Given that the paint is in good shape like the owner says and VM is all you need, I bet the Souveran will look very nice on that color....... Just not sure it will last as long as the customer wants.:nixweiss

I've found VM and EX-P to be a nice looking combo. You can always top it off with some Souveran later if the owner wants.

not to sure what year the car is? but it looks garage kept. everytime i see a mustang like that the paint looks pretty bad. he must at least wash, and wax pretty often.

i was also thinking of trying VM/EX-P or VM/UPP then a quality carnauba.

No engine pics sorry. The car is a 1993. I was going to detail it Saturday, but it's not running right (plug wires I think). I'll keep you guys posted.

here's EX-P x2 + Natty's x2 done around Sept. 21

or NXT

this car is a single-stage paint, and outside all the time and under a tree. i think it was last week when i last washed it, and the areas that aren't underneath the tree (hood, both sides of the car) still beaded quite nicely while the roof and trunk area didn't. i think that's due to the tree and the crap coming from it.

oh and another time i did half the hood with #16 and NXT, the #16 side beaded better than the NXT side, and i think this was about a week after it had been done.
