They have some swirls/scratches, and so im wanting to get them looking like the rest of the car--defect free. What can i use on them but not damage them? I have Merenza IP, Z-PC, and Z-AIO...what can i use on them to get the swirls out, or at least most of the swirls out. BTW, im also wanting to do the same for the plastic filler panel...

I never have used an abrasive on them, just Z-5/Z-2, so i dont know if it would be safe to use one on it. I just dont want to screw them up...

Most of the tail lights I do I will just polish them during the polish steps.

I will do SIP and then 106ff... Never had a problem.:dance

I haven't tried it on plastic, but Malco's Nano Polishing Cream would be my choice. It worked great polishing a new Toyota last weekend. The van didn't have any scratches or swirls, just dead paint.
