No problem Alexaris.
Monterrey, UK or Canda?
Well if you come down to the states I would load up. Many of the products are not available in other countries unless you know a specific contact.
The PC is is one of them, then a proper set of pads.
www.topoftheline.com for 6 or more 7.5 inch pads (foam cutting, polishing, and finishing), heard Hi-Temps bug remover was good.
A nice set of polishes for the PC too. A nice set-up is 3M Perfect It III Rubbing Compound, 3M Perfect It III Machine Glaze, Meguiar's #83 DACP, Meguiar's #85 (optional, but hey you never know, or you can substitue 3M Perfect It III Extra cut Rubbing Compound.), Meguiar's #9 Swirl Mark Remover or #82 Swirl Free Polish. These polishes should offer you superior range of product that covers a lot of aspects of defect removal with you're PC. technique plays a large role too, nothing like having all the good tools and prodcuts and not knowing how to use it. I doubt that though, you are on Autopia.
Zaino you can mix and match products if you want. I find the optimum kit would be Z1, Z2, Z5, Z6, Z7, and a ZFX kit (I also like to use the Z12/Z14 and Z16. The Z18 clay is optional if you can find Mother's or Clay Magic clay for cheaper.) I at first started out with ZFX and used it for a year. Mixing up small batches in 2 ounce bottles wasn't a pain and with the new Zaino, the stuff doesn't stick to the bottle so you can wash them out and re use them with the older formulations of Zaino I just threw out the old bottles. I recently (within the past 2 months) bought and used Z1, I am now on my second bottle. I like to apply a quick application of Z1 (takes less than 15 minutes) every fourth or fifth coat of Zaino. I use Z1 also when I don't have time or want to mix up bottles of zFX with Zaino. I still use both, ZFX when I need to have a fast dry time (or in high humidity or low temps.) or when I want to apply 3 coats in a sitting. I also use Z1 when I am less restricted on time or don't want to apply 3 coats because of time running against me. I will wash the car, clay then polish, apply Z1, then Z2 or Z5, while it is drying, do the interior and glass. Then buff off the Z, do the tires, wheel wells, wheels, and trim, then Z6 the car.
Its personal preference I guess, Z1 or ZFX, but I have both to use in different situations.
Klasse twins. Proper applicators (foam, terry, and MF), proper towels (cotton and MF ww.pakshak.com are good ask for ranney PakShak on Autopia for the Autopian rate,
www.autofiber.com and
www.properautocare.com also offer MF's.) Brushes for interior cleaning, wheel cleaning, tire cleaning are also good. An all purpose cleaner for wheels and tires, also for interiors (
www.detailingdepot.com is good, like Meguiar's APC+ cheap and lasts a long time, can also use it on engines.) Cleaning and protecting the interior vinyl and leather. 303 and Vinylex are two popular choices for interior vinyl protection. A leather cleaner and conditioner are also good. A search of autopia will yield good results.
Just make you you have all your basis covered, unless you come to the states often.
Hope this helps,
Jason
