What to use after PB SSR 2.0?

I am not sure what to use after PB SSR 2.5 and a LC yellow and durastrand pad. The only other polish I have is Megs #80 speed glaze. I assume that I should be following SSR 2.0 with a finer polishing product white LC pad?

I would also like to know if I can fit 5" pads on a 4" backing plate without any issues?

SSR1 of course!, more seriously, Try the M80 on a white pad, and it should gloss up nicely.

But since you dont have it, use the 80.

Thanks. I corrected the post, original title says "2.0" when it is supposed to be ssr 2.5.



Should I use Klasse AIO after 80 or should I just skip to LSP?

Well depending on what sort of paint you have, you might be able to use the 2.5 on white pad. It will often finish down LSP ready.

I have a few in mind. NXT 2.0, Megs #26, and Poorboys EX-P.





I am using this on a Mazda RX8 in Velocity Red Mica and Infiniti QX4 in Brilliant Silver.

Id just skip the AIO, do a nice IPA wipedown after your last polishing step, then use the EX-P.

IPA wipedown is only for revealing defects that may be fill in, correct?

It's also to remove residual oils. If you are going to be applying a sealant, it's best to make sure your paint is oil free before applying the sealant.
