What to put on top of Blackfire Wet Diamond

Partially Deaf

Hi guys, noob here.

I'm preparing to do a long detail on my car (2010 Camaro SS) after I finish my finals next week. Anyways, I was wondering what I should use as a carnauba wax on top of the blackfire sealant.

I saw people saying that Souveran is a good product, but that stuff is nearly $100 a can... and I'm not sure if it will even make the paint look that much better on top of Blackfire.

So, what do you guys suggest? Or should I just not bother with a wax on top of the sealant?

Thanks guys

I would say get two coats of BF on the car and live with it for a week or two and then decided if you want a 'nuba topper.

If you still want suggestions, state the color of your car, that will aide in the decision.

I did my winter detail to put the car away for the winter, and here is what I did...and might I say....WOW! The gloss and depth was unbelievable. I will have to post some pics when I get home. Anyway, I polished with HD Uno (tried for the first time), finishing down the ever so slight micromarring with 85rd. I applied CG Ez Creme Glaze, BFWD, and topped with CG Butter Wet Wax. As I said, the wetness, gloss and depth was amazing. Neither product muted the other at all. The best part, is the ease of application and removal, as well as the cost of each item.

Pinnacle is nice. But yeah not for $95.

2 coats of Nattys Blue or Red would look

really nice with the same results.

Haven't used Blackfire products.

Heard good things about it.

An obvious answer is Midnight Sun. If I'm not mistaken it is a carnuba wax fortified with the same polymer used in BFWD. Made specially to top BFWD. Anyway just another choice to throw out there.

Bingo.

I used BFWD two weeks ago on my wifes silver Mazda 5. Two coats, and it looks GREAT. Nice and glossy, wet and very slick.

I see zero reason to top it with anything.

I don't see any need to top it, it looks great, and it sheds dirt so well, that topping it will probably lessen that effect.

Plus when you top it with a wax, its slickness goes down by 50%, so I leave it alone, don't see much of a difference with a wax anyway.

Nothing...... I just bought a 32 oz refill and wonder if it has polycharger in it also. It is not lable as such. BWD is the best sealant I have ever used!

I've had it on my wife's silver Mazda 5 for a couple weeks now, and thus far I am very impressed.

I applied the Zaino treatment on my 5th Gen.(Black) and it looks really good.

A good sealant sure does make all those lines "Pop" in these cars.

I put zaino on my black 5th gen and I didn't like it. Maybe because all the hype around zaino that I my expectations were too high. Also probably because I didn't have a PC and I didn't prep the surface that well... but I applied it to the car like a week after I got it.

I have Z2 and Z5 (lots of it) but I went out of my way to get blackfire.

Funny, my name is Dan too haha. And we both drive black 5th gens.
