What to get

Hey all. I am a rather new to the detailing thing. I got bitten by the bug last summer when I decided to start showing my truck at shows. It is 2 years old and has not seen anything but wax. I first had some bad waxing habits (circle motion) to I came here. My vehicle is black and it shows everything. It is also a daily driver and gets 4 wheeled from time to time so I am sure there is no way to get everything out of the paint or keep it out. The paint looks awesome untill the light hits it right then you can see swilrs and some spider webbing in it. I am gonna try using an orbital for the first time here soon and see what I can do. This is what I was thinking and some products I was thinking about. Would be greatly appreciated if you could let me know what ones to use in the groups or make changes if I am wrong in some places:

1. Wash

2. Clay with Clay Magic Medium Grade Bar using PB Spray and wipe as lube.

3. Megs DACP or 3m Perfect It III Compound or 3m Perfect It III Extra Cut

4. 3m Perfect It II Machine Glaze or P21S GECP

5. 3m Finesse It II or 3m Imperial Hand Glaze

6. P21S paste wax or Trade Secret paste wax or One Grand Blitz or PoorBoys EX

Also what kind and color pads for the PC am I going to need.

Or inestead of steps 2,3,4 since I am newb to this and its black paint should I just use Megs #9?

Sorry for all the questions.

If it was my car, I'd use Meguiars DACP and Swirl Free, then either S100 SEC (P21S GEPC) or Clearkote's Vanilla Moose. At that point, pretty much any wax or sealant is going to look pretty damn good. ;)

I do my work by hand, so I am sure someone else will come up with pad suggestions.
