what to do with my new domain?

I am now the proud owner of waxwaster.com

yes that`s right

I couldn`t resist and have spent more money on worse.

So now what to do with it?

I`m planning on just doing some basic wordpress style site with some info on my car and maybe lots of pics of my car.

BUT I figured I`d see if anyone on here has any clever ideas as I am not against suggestions.

my actual .com (for the business) is almost ready to go up, this one will be just something I will toy around with myself for the most part

Perhaps I should start with a question: What is a Wax Waster? (to you)

Thats the key. How does one actually waste wax?

Well, insert colloquial famous redneck words... I am from Texas, afterall... "Hold my beer..."

:)

Here`s how I do it...
Top your car with CSL, then a few layers of EXO, then top it after every wash and see how long the toppers last (hint: until the next wash)

Brandt- given your day job as a numbers guy (and my selfish push as an engineer)

it it would be pretty awesome to treat it as a sort of compendium of “crazy/tested” stuff to try.

3x layers of Nattys Red with chilled spray and gloss before the app of Natty Blue? What does this look like?

test 1 vs 2 vs 3 layers of a favorite wax or coating, along with durability of toppers? What about using/not using the manufacturer primer polish?

I guess it would sorta be the same as here, but a more detailed documentation adhering to a website format (end goal being a database)

Name, rank, wax, application method, results, caveats, etc.

i dunno, I’m rambling.

Heh heh, when I read that I think that there must be some awfully smart-[aleck] response I could give ;)

Eh, noting that I`m No Fun sometimes...to me the whole thing is 100% negative :o A WaxWaster would be somebody who does stuff that doesn`t need doing and/or does it wrong. Sorry, sorry...and I know you`ve heard that opinion from me before so this is probably especially bad...guess I just couldn`t pass up an opportunity to be a [jerk] again. But I *DO* think that and somebody else, say...a potential customer...might see it that way too; I`d never let a self-described "Wax Waster" within a mile of my vehicles if I were shopping for a Pro.

I can see the potential negative connotation. I view things through multiple lenses.

Waxwasting, to me at least, is more of a state of mind than a literal application method or technique.

Maybe I`ll just collect pics from Autopians and post them to the site.

I really have no idea what I`ll do with it but I couldn`t resist buying it.

Just remember... "WaxWaster" is the same as "WaxMaster" with an inverted "W".

Then again, WaxMaster is a trade-name for those large bonnet buffers sold everywhere.
I get that a lot. Which logically baffles me as the person obviously can read the first W yet misses the 2nd.

Start a database with every wax known to man with its perceived qualities, price, etc. it could become a site for all things wax. Sounds like fun.
