I do detailing as a hobby and every now and then someone wants their vehicle detailed. This person who has a Lincoln MZX, which is a SUV and I have detailed this person`s previous car which was a Mini conv. and I charged $250, for a complete detail inside and out and it took me two days.
They are not asking for a engine detail.
I am not sure what to charge

How good are you as a Detailer, and how many years experience do you have Detailing Client vehicles ? How many Client vehicles have you done total ?

Do you know what you charge by the hour? Perhaps use that basis, figure out how long it will take you, and then give them an estimate..
When you said it took 2 days to Detail their Mini Convertible, how many hours was that ? Perhaps that will also help you figure out an estimate based on hours..

I assume you have looked at the Lincoln and know the condition of the paintwork, the interior, the wheels, etc., so that also has to be factored into how many hours you think it will take you.

Have you talked to them about the condition of the entire vehicle, and what are their expectations ? That makes a difference also when figuring out how many hours it will take you..

Certainly, based on the size alone, it will have to be more than the MINI, but in my experiences with MINI, they are small but have lots of places inside that actually take a lot longer than you think..
Very busy interior layouts that take a lot of time to get all perfect, in my experiences..

Where do you live and what else do you do to earn money? At $250 for 16 hours of work, you are making just north of $15 an hour. Around my area that is what unskilled labor gets, and they get benefits on top of that and probably don`t work nearly as hard.
