What speed to put PC on....

Just got a PC and was just wondering what speed I should start with and if it is okay to go to 6 on these products?

Use the higher speeds for your compunds and polishes, middle speed (4-5ish) for sealants (a la AIO) and lower speeds (2-4) for waxes and LSP's. :xyxthumbs:
 
I don't know, I've never tried it either. The higher speeds on the PC are for working in a product like a polish or cleaner. You don't need to "work in" an LSP. All you need to do is cover the surface with it. So any low speed is perfectly adequate. The higher speeds wouldn't have any advantage with LSPs that I can see.
 
I work most polishes at a speed of 5 and sometimes go up to 6 on the last slow pass to make sure I break the abrasives down. Products like VM and AIO, I use a speed of 5 and 4.5 to apply NXT Wax.

Hopefully the weather will be nice this weekend, will try to post some pics. Heard that we're suppose to get more some tomorrow.:rolleyes:
