I was wondering what size pads you guys are running on your pc? I just upgraded to a 6" backing plate and im going to run i believe there the 7.5 inch pads, but i think i made a mistake when i got them. I think there really only going to be good for my rotary, since the pc dooesnt have that much power and maybe theyll bog down on corrective buffing?

I use 6" Sonus DAS and SFX pads and I still have a few LC pads left. FWIW I'd stick to 6" flat pads on the PC and save larger pads for a rotary.

Yeah, if I have to use the PC for correction I do it with 4" pads. Much more effective on marring than the larger ones. The machine doesn't bog down and merely "jiggle" as readily.

I'll third the recommendation for 4" pads on the PC. I use the PC only in spots where my Cyclo can't reach.

Hehehe .. Your're right Jon... I forgot the PC I keep permanently set up for using 4" pads! :xyxthumbs

Yes and 4" pads too .. very effective in maximizing the cutting ability of a PC and for detailing small or difficult to reach areas or glass.
