I'm planning on doing this wax set-up. which pads should I use for it, and which should be done with a PC and which by hand?

Thanks!!

Klasse All-In-One

Clearkote Red Moose Machine Glaze

Poorboy's EX-P

Poorboy's Natty's Blue Wax

You can do any of those by machine or by hand. It's all up to your preference. If it were me, I'd use the AIO and RMG by PC. The EX-P and Blue Nattys would be put on by hand.

I'd use a blue pad with both of the products.

All of those products (minus the Natty's) will work fine with the PC, and EX-P works great with a PC. I have found that it provides a more uniform and even coverage than by hand.

You should always apply any paste wax by hand. BTW, I would probably only use AIO or RMG. I don't really see the need for both assuming your paint is polished and swirl free. RMG will add a better look to your black paint, while AIO would be a better base for the sealant. Personally, I wouldn't use both though.

well there is some swirls in it, so thats why I was gunna use both

RMG's abrasives are pretty gentle but the fillers will aid in hiding some of the swirls, if that's what you're looking for. AIO also doesn't have much polishing ability and I don't think it has any fillers either.

I don't know how bad your swirls are, but you might need to look into something like #80 or SSR2 to use before RMG/AIO

I consider the abrasives in RMG/AIO to be purely for gloss enhancing. They just don't have enough cut to remove defects IMO. If you have anything beyond the lightest swirling, your going to have to step up to a dedicated abrasive polish like paul said, the ssr series are great, as are the menzerna and optimum polishes.

For me I would AIO by hand as I dont get on well with PC personally, by PC a polishing pad.

RMG with a finishing Pad, speeds 4-5 work it till its dissolves /disapears into the paint.

EX-p by hand for me - but by PC a finishing pad again.

Nattys Blue by hand.
