I am about to detail my car and have noticed this area on the paint before, but this is the first time I plan to actually correct my paint instead of hide the swirls and other scratches. I plan to approach the correction with M105 and an Orange pad, and then follow up with ZPC on a white pad. I will top this with ZAIO.
Now to my questions about this area. What should I do in this area when I am correcting the paint? Should I just tape it off and not touch it an do the area by hand rather than using my PC? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. The pictures of this area are below.
