i just currently bought a pc with edge pads and im going to do my car for the frist time but im not sure if after i do my car with pb's ssr2 do i follow it with ssr1? and will the ssr1 be the last step before the nattys (blue) wax? and with what pads should i use to do the ssr1 and natty's?

Do you have all the black-yellow-green-orange-blue-white pads?

If you are new, SSR 2 with green or yellow, followed by SSR 1 with blue is a good start.

I don't use any pad with natty's, just my shoulders & a mf.

yeah i got all those pads. thanks for the 411. do you suggest using anything else or am i good with just those two polishes?

It depends on the condition of your paint really. All cars are different. If your car is fairly new you should be fine. However, if you are working on a swirled up 1992 Civic.... well you're going to need a heck of a lot more than SSR2 and SSR1. I say try what you have until you get the results that you want. It is impossible for one of us to give you an exact process without 1- knowing the car 2- knowing the condition 3- what you have 4- what you want it to look like etc.

FWIW- For light swirls I say you could just use the SSR2 and if you like the results you can go right to your Natty's

As I said above it depends on a lot of things. If you have a white car in good condition you wouldn't want to waste a glaze. If its red or black or something then you might have a benefit.

If you use SSR2 and you get the results you want you can just jump to the Natty's and be done with it. If you have a light haze you could use Polish with Carnaube (Blue) and then the Natty's and you'd get a little bit of a better looks. Not all that necessary though.

Budman is on the money.

Without knowing much about the car (or seeing it) it is rather difficult to say exactally what products you would need. It really depends on the condition of your paint.

If it is newer and doesn't have that many defects, then you might not need a very aggressive combo to bring it back.

A little more info might help us help you;)
