What polish should I use...?

I have the UPP kit and I want to use the Platinum Polish under the UPP for maximum compatibility, but I have some swirls I want to remove. What polish should I use first to minimize the swirls that won't be removed by Platinum Polish? I have a bottle of Megs #9, but from what i've read, it contains a lot of fillers and oils, which would be removed by Platinum Polish. I use the PC for polishing and I don't want to get into anything too agressive. What do you recommend?

I wouldn't say that #9 has a lot of fillers and oils, but I'm sure it does have some. I've used it to "remove", not "hide" some minor swirls. If you want something more aggressive that still can be used with a PC, you may want to try Meguiar's DACP. Follow that with the #9, and then Klasse AIO, or the Platinum cleaner, and you should be good to go for the UPP.

I honestly believe that the Menzerna polishes (Intensive and Final), when used together, are the finest swirl removers available - much better than the Meguiars. They contain absolutely NO fillers/silicones or oils. They buff out easily, and leave a mirror-like, squeaky clean surface ready for AIO and UPP. They are somewhat hard to find, but when you try them, you probably won't want to try another polish....
