What pads are these?

Folks
I am thinking of taking the PC plunge. I am considering the following kit ....

Poorboy’s Porter Cable 7424 Polish & wax Kit

What brand are the pads in this kit ? Has anybody tried these? Am I better off buying special pads like the edge pads (The Edge 2000 Foam pads & Porter Cable 7424 Complete Kit) or are the generic pads good enough for a non professional?

Those are the wolfgang pads in the kit.

Those are the wolfgang pads in the kit.

And I think they are supplied by Lake Country.
I have no idea if the Wolfgang pads and the Lake Country pads are identical.
In fact, I don't even know what pad distributors actually make their own pads.
It does seem likely that at least some relabeling happens.
Not that relabeling is a bad thing. Just confusing sometimes.

Out of those two kits I'd go for the edge. The velcro backing will fail much sooner with the 6.5" pads if you're not careful.
