Optimum Compound > Optimum Polish > AIO > z2 pro x 3 with z8 in between layers > Souveran Paste Glaz

is the AIO needed ?

I would stay away from a compound unless its neccessary- work with a light abrasive then step up to a more aggressive one if needed. Optimum polish is flexible enought to correct most swirling with different grades of pads.

I don't think AIO is absolutely necessary but it will further polish the paint. I am not sure how aggressive Z-PC is but I don't think it is as aggressive as Optimum Polish. You might want to use it instead of AIO to ensure the best possible bonding. My experience is that AIO followed directly by Zaino is very durable though.

thanks scott, but Optimum is now too difficult to attain.. It'll be Poorboys SSR2, SSR1, then AIO then WG SG, topped with Souveran, watch out for it come a day or two in Click N Brag :D

Tumbler,

Here is almost exactly what you asked about:

awesome ! well it looks like i'm going with SSR series with PC, AIO, and UPP x 2, after searching through hundreds of pics last night.. I may top with souveran depending on if i like the finish or not..

Thanks. I used to use UPC/UPPx3 and it had a similar look and durability, but I always seemd to have streaking problems when I used the UPP(and since I got the Zaino kit from my son for my brithday last year...). I think you'll get a great result either way. Post some pics when you're done.
