What makes a QD...

... do what it does?



I mean, why can't water be used instead? What's the active ingredient (or ingredients) that give the paint that "pop" after a QD? Does it bring up a tiny layer of existing wax that you buff off?



Questions, questions, questions. While I was QD'ing earlier, I became increasingly curious.

dont quote me on it but i think QD is a form of polish and thats why it makes the paint look more "wet" and keep its just waxed look
