What kind of cleaner

I was looking for a good cleaner, probably AIO, but I have a few questions.

Does using clay replace the need for a cleaner?

When is the proper place for the cleaner, before/after scratch removal?

Are there any other cleaners worth noting, like ColorX, Mothers Phase 1, Megs Deep Crystal 1, or anything else.

Claying will get rid of embedded contaminents - things that cleaners and swirl removers can't. If you take a plastic baggie and wrap it round your finger then drag that across your finish and it feels rough then you have em. Some folks rewash after claying, some use a cleaner after that to remove anything else and the clay residue. I use a cleaner like Poorboy's professional polish before going to a swirl remover or paint correction so I have a clean surface with no fillers or such to work with and I know what is where - I'm not familiar with the megs line so I can't commnet on the various products you mentioned - but I would use AIO as my last step before going with a sealant or wax
