What is your favorite hose nozzle

I have one of those Ultimate nozzles but I'm using it less and less because I use a foam gun attached to my hose connected to a quick disconnect connected to a shut off valve. When I'm totally ready to rinse, I disconnect it and let the natural flow of water aid in drying. When I hose the car down at the start of the wash, I simply switch the brass lever on the foam gun to shoot out plain water, get the car all wet, switch to foam, ready to start washing.

Hi there. I use the fire hose nozzle from Target ($9.99 retail). In addition I use the 1/4 ball valve with the nozzle. This is a big time saver as the stream is already set and I don't have to spin the nozzle open and closed. I was skeptical about the importance of the valve and nozzle but without them it adds a few extra minutes to wash time.

I just bought a nice nozzle from Wal-Mart. Black and silver, mostly metal, front trigger instead of rear. $8 I think...

I have a Craftmans fire hose style sprayer that I love!! I got mine at Orchard Supply. It was about 20 bucks as I remember. Its real sturdy feeling so I would guess that it will last a long time

I bought a fire hose style nozzle at Wal-Mart for about $5. I compared it (visually) to other nozzles costing 3x or 4x more but I didn't see any real discernable differences in quality and/or features.

The ball valve that scrub added is a nice idea.

The nozzle is completely enclosed in rubber so there's no possibility of an accidental bump into the paint & the range of adjustment from 30 ft jet stream to flood is quick & easy. When the nozzle is rotated closed, it shuts off without losing a drop.

I when to this nozzle cause at least 2 or 3 times a summer I'd drop the hose & the old trigger-style nozzle would land on it's handle, activating water flow & dousing me and anyone / anything close by .... including the car I had just thoroughly dried.

So far, I like it.

As a side note, the fire hose nozzle allows you to fill a bucket while working on something else. I know most trigger style nozzles have the latch to lock in the open position but the latch usually gets in the way and I remove it. Then I have to stand at the bucket with the trigger pulled to fill bucket. With the fire nozzle I just move on to bugs or wheels while my wash and rinse buckets fill.

The ultimate hose nozzle is the bomb....

This thing comes alive when attached to a 3/4" hose, 3/4" spigot and a 3/4" main feed. Its great for washing out the garage, spraying down the driveway/walkway and watering around the yard.

I use it to wash vehicles that I am going to polish/wax but use no nozzle if I am just washing. I like the sheeting action, less water spotting that no nozzle gives.

QEW = no hose ;)

But I do have a knock-off ultimate nozzle from target or walmart that I got for < $10. works well for wetting and sheeting! Although I haven't used it in a long time....QEW!
