what is your favorite, and most used clay bar?

i usually just use clay magic or another store bought clay, and was wondering if switching it up might be a good thing so im looking for recommendations and discussions!

thanks!

My favorite, the Smart Clay stuff, is no longer on the market in the US, so I only use it when a job really calls for it (should have enough to last myself forever that way).

My most used is the Sonus green Ultra-fine, with which I spot-clay at ever wash and which I use before refreshing my LSPs. That might be worth considering if your ClayMagic is a bit too aggressive for some jobs. Othewise I'd probably stick with the ClayMagic if you're happy with it.

anybody got an opinion on poly-clays? tired of my zaino bar falling apart so easily. i use meguiars medium and aggressive clays and those are pretty good for the price but im open to something better.

if i could get a hold of ricardo or one of those not available in the US clays id pick one up cause all i hear is great stuff and how people stockpile them.

I had 4 CarBrite clays. Down to just 1 left. Their so damn bulky I really can't stand them anymore. I still prefer the smaller Mothers or a Meguiars one. But I may look into the Sonus green and try that.

tried sonus but it sticks all over the place. I personally like Clay Magic but it is hard to come by out here in Hawaii and it has gotten to be a bit pricey.

My favorite is is clay magic, but I use Meguiar's most often because I paid $2 for a Smooth Surface Kit, and I bought 20 kits not too long ago.

The Meguiar's smooth surface clay kit is okay. It's nothing spectacular, it does the job okay. It's probably the least aggressive clay in the market, and that means it does not remove 100% of the surface contaminant if your suface is moderately contaminated. It's not the best clay in the world, but I cannot complain since I paid $2 per kit.

Bulky? Don't you break up your clay bars into smaller pieces?
