I have this tight feeling in my stomach guys....
Long story short . Had HRE'S and it was no match for NYC roads.
In my quest to find the perfect wheel, I may possibly be the ONLY owner of a X5 with a set of 8500lb fully forged pressed wheels.
HOWEVER, it turned out the lug holes needed to be bored out 2mm more and it took a long time for me to find a machine shop I can trust to do it on these very $$$ wheels. I chose them and ALOT of shops are not even comfortable with this caliper of work. I chose them, so let's not let the thread get into *reimbursements*. Let's just focus on repair
What's done is done and there is one slight nick, that I cannot undo. Luckily it's on the lip edge so once mounted, it may not be noticeable at all.
However, the wheel lip is every so slightly scratched on. It is genuine powdercoated ala *BBS style* . U guys should really see the fit and finish on them to appreciate the quality of the powdercoating. 19" wheels weighing in at 20.1 lbs pressed on a 8500lb forge press is an amazing feat.
The ONLY pads I have is cyclo edge pads - green, white and yellow but it will be a nightmare to spot polish the lip and focus on it with the Cyclo.
I have a Fein Rotary and a Festool DA as well. I will probably see start with Menzerna SIP and follow up with 106FA.
However I will need to invest in a pad system. Whether it be a 4" velco/and LC pads or use my Cyclo Pads and buy a new Edge Adapter.
Preface - I have not touched the Rotary or DA in ages....I prefer the Cyclo.
At this point, I'm willing to invest in *the best 4" pad system* and will probably work it with the Fein .
What 4" pads should I get.

This a picture of a perfect wheel non marred....
