What is the deal with my paint?

Owns A Z Now
This has been like this ever since I was gifted my car from relatives about 2 years ago. The paint has these ugly marks on it that don't seem to go away no matter how much I wash the car or use products on it (I clay bared it about a month ago). I was thinking maybe I have extremely hard water at my house or something? But anyway its a 1988 bmw 735i cirrusblau metallic is the paint color.

Other than clay what products (and means of application) have you tried.
I would try a chemical polish such as Pro Polish or AIO .

I've used colorx before ,nxt tech wax, zymol cleaner wax, meg's polish...It seems like all these products mask these marks on the paint for alittle while but they always reappear.
 
Try some klasse AIO or you can get meguiars deep crytsal paint cleaner locally. I belive that shoudl get rid of it. IF that doesnt work then you might need a high power car wash solution.
