I had a ding taken out of my car when I bought it....the dealer said they'd have thier guy do it, so I let them. I noticed today there is about 5 or 6 srcatches on the passanger window. I can't go back to them and *****.....I don't want to have to worry about what may happen if I ever have to take my car to the dealer. So, is there anything I can do to get them out. How is that Zaino glass polish....it says that is remove light and even medium scratches. If you guys know of anything else PLEASE let me know!

If you can feel the scratch with your fingernail there isn't much you can do about it. Your best bet is to take it to an automotive glass shop and see what they can do.

I had the very same thing happen to me when the dealer did some PDR work on my driver's door. Usually they use a thin piece of plastic to protect the glass and their tools are usually highly polished so as not to scratch but, sounds like your guy wasn't very careful. The dealer should replace the glass for you.

You have a tough road ahead though since you didn't catch it before you left. I did the same thing but, I was lucky in that the body shop manager was cooperative.

Nicky Pass, I'm not sure how your glass scratches compare to mine. But I have not found Z's glass polish to do anything on any of my scratches. It does enhance shine (especially after claying), but I never saw it do much to scratches. My toughest test was on the old Ghia, which has some really bad scratches. Z didn't touch 'em. Neither did 3M PerfectIt polish. :( So ... I'm just living with them, at this point. You can be sure I'll be watching this thread to see if somebody has discovered a Miracle Cure.

EDIT: P.S. If you don't already have Z glass polish and want to try it, I have plenty on hand. Just PM me if you want a small sample.
