what happened to EX-P+

All the curent stuff is EX-P+

there never was an official EX-P+ it was just a way of distinguishing the new formula from the old. The only way to be sure which one you are ordering is ask.

Just a quick thought before the noble authority dramas begin:

Imagine you are a potential Bentley customer, shopping for a new Continental Flying Spur. Somewhere you heard that this car is basically a VW. Of course you can't believe this, but just to be sure you ask some wiser men to clarify the situation. Who do you choose and who will you trust?

- the one who will tell you that it is not the appropriate place or question and it is better to go back into your female parental cloaca...

or

- the one who will politely tell you that "Yes, Sir, the Flying Spur is the machanical twin of the VW Phaeton and they are 25% identical. The Bentley has a different interior, body and two turbochargers. But nevertheless it is a good motor car indeed."

You will sit in and discover that even the positions of the armrests are the same. You will notice the big front overhang, characteristic of the original front wheel drive basic layout (adapted for AWD), VW shift paddles, VW instruments and VW multi media interface. The whole car has a typical VW flavor. No, Bentley flavor. No, both. No, neither. You are disillusioned.

Of course, it is still a fast tourer; a great car even. But you are grateful to the man who made you an informed customer because he was honest with you...

I'm not trying to start a problem, just looking for information. I now have CG's EXTREME TOP-COAT PAINT SEALANT+ 3X CARNAUBA, and I was considering trying EX-P+ until I heard they were the same.

I guess the best way to find out is to try them both out and make your own conclusions! You will get much farther with that route than you would asking on here lol.

By that logic there would be little use or need for this forum. I would prefer to avoid spending $25 unnecessarily.lol

Even if it was the same, it wouldnt matter to me.

The personal service, support and accesbility that Steve has given to me (and many others) would still have me using his products. They may not all be to everyone's taste, because we all look for specific things on our cars. The products do perform as advertised and the combination of performance, price and support will keep me a loyal customer to Poorboys, and the other vendors that help make detailing fun and profitable.

Well as far as service, support and accesability goes, Paul answers his phone at 10PM on a Sunday night. As for price it's up to you. I'd rather pay a little more than twice as much for 8 times the product though. Can't beat their knowledge of product as they make them.

If those are your reasons, you might want to consider some of CG's products. ;)

Ive never heard of CG products before today. Now that I am looking, some of the stuff does look similar.

I wasn't intending any flame or disrespect to anyone. I've just seen other threads and sites where products and vendors are trashed needlessly only because they have similar (or even the same) product under a different name. I am just an enthusiast, not a pro, and having great service and advice from vendors and other board members makes this all much more rewarding.

Thanks for the tip, I'll look for more posts about their products.
