When applying a sealant which requires a cure time, is it the heat, or is it the time that is required? In other words, if you live in a hot area, is the cure time shorter, or do you still need to wait the 24 hours?
humidity will also play a part in cure time....it's basically the time needed for the product to adhere to the surface it was applied to. It varies from product to product and place to place, but for most sealants, the waiting of 24 hours makes sure that the product has had a chance to bond, especially if you are planning on layering or topping....
