Sounds like someone needs some new towels or use more IPA. Prior to using primer polish before OCP, we would use 20-30oz of straight IPA on a car. But now with primer polish, no IPA needed for OCP. I have a bottle of Car pro eraser that I bought right before primer polish came out. Doubt it will ever get used. BTW primer polish makes OCP "stupid easy" to use. Apply as much as you like, no streaking.

Bryan, send it my way!  seriously, Im about to order a 4L or 5L whatever it is...so much better than IPA, but pricey....but cheaper than re-polishing!

I am applying ceramic pro as well soon and they have the primer polish in their line up...going to be testing that out soon.  BUt I guess you still need a IPA or equivalent wipedown

You cant honestly tell me you don't get "marring" / light scratching with IPA and a towel on soft black paint...no matter how soft or what towel I use, its a PITA.  only other thing I can see working is a APC dwell, but that requires towel drying the car, and that wont cut it on soft paint prepping for coating unless you can kick out the towels and air dry well enough to get all the water off and out of the crevices!

A coating where a primer polish still needs an IPA wipe? Why torture yourself like that?

I did have one car, a black Jag that made us try every freakin' towel we had till found the right one. Had to fold the edges so they would not touch the paint. Real PITA, maybe thats why I ordered the <span style="color:rgb(40,40,40);font-family:'helvetica neue', helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">eraser. :) As long as that bottle sits in my cabinet, I'll never need it again.

We use new edgeless plush towels for correction work along with Eraser and/or IPA/water mix. Never had an issue with marring even when we used new cheaper towels(as long as the edges are folded away). I'd be interested to hear what towels and technique you're using Eric.
