What do you use to dry your car?

I'm trying to decide what to order for the purpose of drying my car after I wash it. I don't have alot of money to spend.

I use Meguiar's Water Magnet and the Viking Drying Towel ... both are good products and cost less than ten bucks each.

I know that Wal-Mart sells microfiber waffle weave towels in their kitchen department, but I have never tried these.

yea MF here too.the Vroom line from Target.altho i read about alot af people "bloting" the water instead of wiping.i wipe because i thought MF is not supposed to scratch and i did the CD test with my MF and they didnt scratch the CD so i guess im OK.

A leaf blower followed by a quality microfiber towel.

This is what I do also. I use Meguiars Water Magnet WW towel after a good blowing with my electric blower.

The Water Magnets can be had for about $8.00 at O'Reilly Auto Parts. I spray a little Adam's detail spray as I'm drying.

If you do a "sheet rinse" there is a lot less water to worry about. To do that take off the nozzle and let the water flow off of the car. I then get what is left with a quality WW towel. My current favorite is the Excel Monterey 25" x 35" WW towel.

^ :up also, the ww's from wal-mart are great too. surprisingly, the quality in the ww's from wm are just as good as any of the boutique ww's i've gotten online and are holding up pretty well...

I use the sheet rinse and WW also. I was using air, and while its great for getting water out of cracks and crevices, it also kicks dirt out of those and kicks dust up from the ground.

^^LOL I think i may have to try that method, but right now I blot dry with a WW and then follow with one of those big blue microfiber towels from Target I also include some QD when im wiping it down.

Waffle Weaves and Air Wand

Same here, with the compressor used to blow water out of nooks and crannies. I'll sometimes use very plush terry towels for the compressor work especially if I suspect that trapped water will contain dirt.

+2 :bigups

Sheeting, then WWs. I want to get a leaf blower specifically for this though. I also use WalMart MFs for door jambs, etc.

I strap a clean bath towel to the cat and put a can of tuna on the roof.

Was actually using the search function today and came across this ^^^^.

Facetious ,perhaps, but it's my sort of twisted humor and I got a good laugh out of it.

Thanks!
