What do you think of this hose nozzle?

Found it at target. Got a front trigger and looks durable.

Its either that one or the Griots generic one.

What's the purpose for the hose nozzle, the second one looks like it'll hold soap and spray a solution of soap/water. The first ones look like decent sprayers.

The end of the "Target" nozzle looks to be hard plastic. If you stand back and spray it ought to work fine. If you like to get up close and stream water onto the car I'd suggest a nozzle with a soft rubber end. Also, I'd suggest losing the plastic quick-connect and getting brass ones.

Several of our comrades have submitted less-than-supportive comments about product mixing nozzles like that one from Ace. I think it could be quite useful as long as one doesn't expect it to produce "foam".

PC.

I also have a firehose nozzle which I bought from Target. I believe is part of their "Baja" product line. It works great; provides plenty of water pressure, and easy to turn on and off. As for the one you posted, seems to be a standard hose nozzle... should work ok? The advantage of the firehose nozzle is that it stays on and you don't have to hold the trigger back like you would in the one in the picture.

I saw one at Autozone the other day made by BonAire. I can't seem to find a picture of it online, but it looked like a pressure washing wand, and had a place in the back where you can fill with soap. Wonder how it works. It had a rubber tipped spraying end and such.

DetailGirl,

The second one looks the most interesting. I just wish the business end of the product was displayed. The nozzle end tells the tale. In another thread about a Walmart nozzle, the similarity with an online offering (which I bought) was observed. I bought a couple of the Walmart nozzles for about 6 bucks apiece. I think the same manufacturer, or license franchise sells several grades of the same product. (the price/grade determined by the amount of spray pattern choices) It seems to be the same product with customer requested variations. Trigger, triggerguard, texturing, etc. Watch for the basic core design on these products in the future as they are offered by more companies. (vendors) :nixweiss

The above is not intended to say the product will not work well, but I suspect the prices will vary widely among different resellers. At least some of the resellers offer a slightly different different range of spray patterns (I dont know if more spray choices constitutes an increase in value ;) ), although the base design seems to be the same. I speculate, as the summer season aproaches, there will be many offerings of this same design, due to the appeal of the small reservoir, as well as the compact size of the overall unit.

The first nozzle appeared top have a quick disconnect end. Does the manufacturer offer the correct fitting as part of the package?:xyxthumbs
