What could have caused this?

My truck was left out most of last winter and not driven but smow was cleared as needed.The first pic shows after wash,second is after 2 passes with PB 2.25 (mix of 2 and 2.5) via PC with a LC orange 5.5 pad.Also would those foam finger pads be goood to polish the indented part of the hood?If not how would you polish this area?

Probably from snow removal. Did you take it through a car wash over the winter?

looks like marring for a snow brush

If you dont drive it why would you brush the snow off it?

Would have been much better to just leave it.
