What Combo Better For A Newbie Polisher?

To start off I have a PC 7336 which I have been told is the same as the regular PC 7424. My question is would it be better for a newbie like me to start off using a combo of compounds and polishes like meguiars M105/M205 combo or go with the Menzerna combo which I have no clue which ones I would basically need.

Anyone? I have searched, but there is no section on saying which combo is the best to use. I am use to using poorboys SSR stuff and some optimum compound but that was when I first started trying out detailing on my own. With work being busy I quit doing the work and let someone else do it. I am trying to get back into doing it again. Any help would help greatly.

There is no best combo for everything, but 105/205 works on the majority of finishes. Grab some sample sizes and pads from ADS and try it out.

Different polish systems have different characteristics. For instance...

Optimum generally has a long work time.

M105/M205 have a (much) shorter work time and they don't break down, which calls for a different approach that some like better/worse.

1Z polishes (consumer line) work kinda like cleaner-waxes and can be incredibly user-friendly.
