What combination can beat this?

Trying to beat last year's shine. Combination to beat is Menzerna FP, AIO 2 coats, SG 5 coats, PPG many coats.

Think Zaino can beat this? Hear it is good for light colors. Or have I reached waximus maximus?

I agree that you will probably will not get the car looking any nicer. I've reached the same point with my car and it is a little depressing, LOL.

I can't imagine anything including Zaino, yes I'm a cult member, looking better than that. It looks fantastic and a nice-*** ride ta' boot. Thanks for sharing and I wouldn't mind seeing more pics in the sun

maybe a carnauba topper like s100/P21s? and it's not like you can go wrong with Zaino either.

really nice car you got there.

waximus maximus? Now thats a nice turn of phrase. The finish ? I dont think it gets much better than that ... Great job. Dont mess with perfection :)

It is a very nice finish. Looks are only one part of the equation.

I am sure you are not using that vehicle as a daily driver that sits outside 24/7 and is driven regulary in rain and snow.

How you use your vehicle and how often you plan on applying a sealant/wax are factors to consider when choosing LSPs.

Looks exellent! The only difference in my opinion is that if you felt like you wanted to keep going with many coats, Zaino seems to layer better than anything I've tried. I never heard anyone putting 30 coats of any other product except Z, has anyone else? But absent the desire to keep going that car looks beautiful, I do like the results of SG just not the process of applying SG. Chris is that original paint, tell the truth?

Perhaps a layer of Natty's? I put several coats of Zaino my wife's car, which looked great. But it looked even better when I topped it with Zaino.

I'll take a picture outside for everyone.

This car's paint is how I found Autopia. It looked like whoever repainted it (25 years ago), didn't do a good job of doing the final polishing. It was covered in a haze and fine scratches.

I bought the car because everything else was in really good shape on it. Drove nice, etc..

I was searching the web looking for help and came across this site. Through the help of fellow Autopians, this car's paint was taken from being absolutely terrible looking to how it looks now. I receive a continuous stream of "nice paint" comments at car shows. Local car guys now describe me as a "Professor of Waxology" and bring their cars to me.

It could not have been done without the help of everyone here. I'm creating a storyboard that lists what is in the car for the bigger car shows. I intend to put Paint by Autopians on it. In my class, I'm up against cars that cost up to $60,000 and $70,000. They get me in the high-dollar, high-tech department but the DON'T GET ME IN THE PAINT DEPARTMENT. I tell them the car's paint is 25 years old (which will also be in the storyboard) and these guys about FALL OVER.

You can't believe how poor some of the finishes look on those cars.

But Autopia also got me "hooked". I am continously trying to find any new trick to get this thing higher on the "shiny scale". It is definitely an obsession. A good one, though...:D
