I got a clay from Carbrite (Britestick) but I´m always getting it to grab and leave parts that is hard to remove. Do I got the wrong clay?? I use a regular schampoo as a lube..

hoho..I thought that Carbrite was the only one that did clays...

Automotive clay was intended to remove overspray from a cars paint. Then it was found to do a lot of other jobs. It sometimes removed tar, bug residue, and other stuff sitting on the paint surface.

It does not remove anything that has gone below the paint surface like etching and ferrous oxides (metal particles embedded in the paint.)

It sure does make the paint as smooth as glass though......
