What can't I apply Sealant/Wax on?

Should/can I use Jet Seal 109 & P21S wax on my headlights/taillights/door handles?

Also I have my aluminum chrome trim painted matte black - can I use the sealant/wax on that?

I always wax or seal the head and tail lights, have never had any problems, just benefits from doing it. Aren't the door handles painted on that car? Then yes, seal them also. Anything that has a smooth surface can be waxed and /or sealed IME. Some plastic trims are textured, some products can be used on them, others stain them..

The handles are painted - exactly like the car... I will seal/wax them.

The trim is the next question. It was aluminum and I had a body shop paint it matte black. Doesn't look to have a clear coat or anything on it.

Thanks for the input you two!

I'd be careful about using anything abrasive on it, and I wouldn't wax/seal it until the paint had cured (~90 days) but after that I *would* want to keep something on it for protection.

Waxes/etc. don't really turn matte paint glossy, they just give it a low-level sheen that *I* find attractive. If you don't like how it looks you can always clean it off and try something else.

Hm, no clear on it? I beleive you should not wax it. It might soak into it, leaving residue... Don't hold my words against me though :)
