Hi,

I'm all set to go. I got my PC, my pads, and a transformer.

Now all I need are some top tips and some good weather. Oh, and a bottle of DACP.

So what are your best / favourite PC tips, please.

C'mon! You know you want to share them :xyxthumbs

Thanks,

Top 10

10) Start at a low speed, and once the product is spread, bump up to a higher speed and work the product in.

9) Use ONE SPRITZ of either Final Inspection or Distilled Water on the pad before applying the product

8) Apply the product in an "X" on the pad, don't over-use

7) Work the product until the paint almost looks like it's been buffed already.

6) Work in different patterns - front to back, side to side, or diagonals

5) Keep the machine level on the surface, and apply SLIGHT downward pressure; don't bear down too much or you could cause more defects than you're correcting

4) Don't lift the machine off the paint while it is still on - you risk losing control of the machine and flinging it, your pad, or product all over the place

3) ALWAYS use both hands - especially when going over curves or on vertical pannels.

2) Stay away from trim where-ever possible - you can dammage it easily with the machine if you're not careful

1) Worship your PC every time you use it - you must recognize the time and work it saves you :p

Mentally map out the areas and sections you'll be doing each time before starting so you have a plan.

Have all your products, towels, and extra pads ready to go for if or when you need them.

Lightly dust off the area you're going to polish just before actually doing it. Who knows if dust may have settled on that panel while you have been working on the adjacent panel?

Watch that cord...
