Hey guys,

What products do you like from Top of the Line or Hi-Temp? I'm looking to get some deodorizers, snow accessories, shampoos and maybe some APC type of cleaner.

Let me know what you like, what do you don't like... discuss.

Thanks guys:xyxthumbs

ht-69

it is a one step lightcut polish/ sealant it works well and is cheap

extreme cut

works well with a rotary will remove a lot and finishes down nice

All of the Hi-Temp Levelers are economical, effective and user-friendly.

The Hi-Temp HT-69 Paint Perfection is a pretty good economical one-step polish/sealant.

TOL Rug Renew is also pretty good on carpets and upholstery.

There's a lot of stuff from TOL I haven't tried, but I like the Hi-Temp wheel cleaner and I think they have really nice sea sponges. TOL Bubble Bath is also a great wash soap IMO.

TOL Grape Dressing is awesome stuff, particularly since its so cheap.

firegate,

I'm curious about the Grape Dressing, but how did you get it being that you're in CA? Was it through a private seller?

Thanks

Yeah, I picked up a gallon of it in a trade. I actually didn't realize it wasn't available to ship out here until your post. Too bad, I was planning on ordering another since mine is about done :( .

Hi-Temp Tire Cleaner is a must have. I am a bit of a clean rubber freak, and this stuff is the best tire cleaner money can buy(and it's dirt cheap).

TOL Bubble Bath - suds galore + very slick

Hi-Temp Tire Cleaner - best tire cleaner I've ever used

Hi-Temp Extreme Cut - great alone or mixed with other products (i.e. OP)

Pet Hair Eliminator - never met a hair it couldn't remove; Pet Hair Eliminator

Optimum Tire Dressing, 1gal - finishes down nicely. Reminds me of Z16 but with a bit more oil

Trade Secret.......

I second this. Goes on/comes off easily, looks great, and has pretty good durability for a "beauty wax." (Over a month of beading during the summer-not in Florida-type humid/hot weather or anything, mind you.)

While you are shopping there, you may consider picking up some Optimum Tire Shine. It's $20 a gallon so it will last a while and leaves a dark satiny finish. I do not recommend TOL Bubble Bath, there are far superior shampoos out there, IMO.

You **OWE** it to yourself to pick up some GR-40. It is the best trim cleaner that I have found. In my experience, you don't need to "grease" up the trim for it to look good as GR-40 will make it look new.

I like, use, and recommend all of the following: Hi-temp Tire Cleaner, Wheel Cleaner, Levelers, Midnight express, One-step, Terminator Sealant. TOL- Pizazz wax (a great wax at a great price!), Rug Renew, Deep Down (my absolute favorite detailing product), and Best Dressed (rivals 303 for much less and it smells better)

iv been off for a while, cant beleive i missed this thread!!!

oh jeez!!! where to begin . .

i have the entire hi temp line of compounds and polishes . . .

as stated above, they work well, are very cost effective and finish down very nice . . .

also, paint perfection glaze and midnight express (very similar, however midnight express is formulated for black paint . .) are wonderful one step products . . . IMO comparable to products like AIO and OPS . . .

I use hi temp pre treat and carpet cleaner for my carpet needs, and i must say their claim about a "low foam" extractor friendly soloution is very accurate. when used with a de-foamer, i saw hardly any bubbles in my recovery tank..........

finally . . . hi temp black paste wax is just wonderful for black paint . . .

i know many skeptics argue frequently over waxes for "colored cars", but the reason i like midnight express topped with hi temp black wax is its uncanny abilitgy not to highlight paint chips in dark colored vehicles . . .

Thanks guys! I'll be looking forward to purchasing a few of these products, if not on this order, in the near future. :2thumbs:
