what are the best chamois

meguiars water magnet is one that can be bought locally i think. never tried it but i believe its a waffle weave.

Chamois isn't the drying tool of choice for most detailers these days. It has no nap to help protect the finish if there's any contaminants on the surface. Microfibers, particularily waffle weave towels, are the choice now for drying. The only ones I've ever found locally are Zwipes and Mequiars Water Magnet, but the Water Magnet is by far the better of the two IMO. I own both and virtually never pull out the Zwipes anymore.

I've really liked the 'Water Sprite' (#760-1102) at the local NAPA for $7.49. It measures 13.75 x 23 in., the softest chamois I've used. Might search the forums for more suggestions though.

Best Chamois = No Chamois

best way to dry = Sheet the water off the car with the hose, then blow off with a leaf blower, nothing touches your car this way.

But then again just my 2 cents.

i just picked up on the deal from winners circle. 5 20x40 waffle weaves for 25 bucks. :spot 30 something after shipping. let you know how great they work.
